This is a gauze bandage coated with plaster of Paris. The POP bandage comes wrapped around a plastic spool, which is designed to allow rapid and even wetting upon immersion. Once wet the POP bandage sets, forming a hard and rigid structure that is both porous and absorbent.
POP BANDAGE (PLASTER OF PARIS)
(POP) Plaster Of Paris contain Hydrophile gauze which woven with %100 cotton yarns and orthopeadic gypsum. The bandage absorbs water very rapidly so theimmersion time should not be longer than 10 sec. Because of soft and concentrated formula, it takes form easily. It's setting time is approximatelly 1-8 minutes. After applying, it is not spilling.
